Privacy Policy
We ask for the minimum information needed to help you, and we treat it carefully.
Information we collect
We collect only what you choose to submit through our forms — such as your name, email, phone number, location, school or employment status, trade interests, and the details you share about the assistance or programs you're seeking.
How we use information
We use your information to respond to your request, match you with programs, resources, mentors, or partners, and improve our services. We may contact you about programs, events, or opportunities relevant to your request.
What we don't do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
Sharing with partners
When it is necessary to fulfill your request — for example connecting you with an apprenticeship program, employer, trade school, or mentor — we share only the information needed and, where practical, ask for your confirmation first.
Youth privacy
Much of our work involves minors. We ask students under 18 to involve a parent, guardian, teacher, or counselor when submitting information, and we limit collection to what is needed for program participation. Parents and guardians may contact us to review or request deletion of a minor's information.
Data retention and security
We keep program information only as long as needed for our programs and recordkeeping, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask us to correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, at any time by emailing info@tradesforward.org.
Changes to this policy
As our organization and programs grow, this policy will be updated. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
