Accessibility Statement

Everyone deserves a clear look at their career options — online and in person.

Our commitment

Career information should be usable by everyone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and to design our programs so participants with disabilities can take part fully.

What we do on this site

We use semantic headings and landmarks, keyboard-navigable menus and forms, visible focus indicators, descriptive link text, alternative text on meaningful images, sufficient color contrast, and layouts that work on phones and with zoom or larger text.

In-person programs

We work with schools, employers, and venues to arrange accessible locations, materials, and accommodations for presentations, demonstrations, tours, and career events. Tell us what you need when you request a program.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is not a one-time project. As we add practice tests, videos, and account features, we test them for keyboard use, screen reader compatibility, and captioning before release.

Tell us about a barrier

If any part of this website or a program is difficult to use, email info@tradesforward.org with the page or activity and the problem you encountered. We will respond and offer the information in another format if needed.
